Manila, Philippines, 28 May 2025Bitget Wallet, a leading non-custodial crypto wallet, has unveiled its new brand identity, marking its transformation into a comprehensive crypto platform designed for everyday use. The refresh includes a redesigned logo, a streamlined user interface, and the introduction of four core features: Trade, Earn, Pay, and Discover.

This rebranding underscores Bitget Wallet’s dedication to the Crypto for Everyone Movement, which aims to bring the next billion users into the crypto space. As part of this initiative, the brand launched over $1 million in community incentives to reward users and encourage deeper platform engagement.

With a global user base exceeding 80 million and a 300% increase in users over the past year, Bitget Wallet continues to gain traction across both emerging and mature markets. The platform reported its most significant growth in Africa (+959%), Europe (+367%), and the Middle East (+350%).

“Wallets are evolving from niche tools to essential services for everyday needs,” said Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet. “This rebrand is a key step in our long-term strategy to make crypto more accessible. Our vision is to make using crypto as intuitive as calling a ride or sending money online.”

In the Philippines, Bitget Wallet has become a trusted name through its PHP currency integration, mobile-first design, and community-focused outreach. Initiatives like PayFi in Siargao, Bitget Wallet Lite on Telegram, and regular offline events have helped deliver practical crypto education and real-life use cases to Filipinos nationwide—from Metro Manila to remote islands.

Bitget’s reimagined wallet was introduced by Country Manager Jose Mendoza during a Bitcoin Pizza Day celebration held on 24 May 2025 at BGC, Taguig City. The event gathered hundreds of crypto enthusiasts, influencers, and community leaders to honor the iconic 2010 purchase where Laszlo Hanyecz exchanged 10,000 BTC for two pizzas.

This local event was part of Bitget’s global Bitcoin Pizza Day campaign, with celebrations held across five continents and over 2,000 pizzas distributed worldwide. From May 19 to 24, Bitget hosted events in Metro Manila, as well as in cities like Abuja, Cape Town, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Mexico City, Lisbon, Barcelona, Florence, Milan, Athens, Penang, Dubai, Taipei, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Looking forward, Bitget Wallet aims to integrate national QR payment systems, enhance yield-generation features, and enable support for tokenized real-world assets like equities and gold—advancing its goal to deliver the next phase of crypto utility globally.

“Bitget Wallet represents more than just decentralization—it’s a vital access point for trading, earning, and making payments with on-chain assets,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “We’re giving users a powerful tool that’s easy to use, widely accessible, and packed with functionality—empowering them to seize opportunities, anytime and anywhere.”
