Setting a New Standard: Schneider Electric’s Cavite Site Becomes Luzon's Premier 100% Renewable Government Ecozone
CAVITE, PHILIPPINES – Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, recently switched its Smart Factory in Rosario, Cavite to 100% renewable energy, setting a new benchmark for industrial sustainability in the Philippines. The Cavite Smart Factory is the first manufacturing site within a government-operated economic zone in Luzon to fully transition to renewable energy, and the first Schneider Electric factory in East Asia to operate entirely on clean power. The switch, completed on December 26, 2025, capped Schneider Electric’s 30th year in the Philippines and was formally marked during the company’s 190th global foundation year on January 14, 2026.
