SINGAPORE, 15 September 2025 – Alipay+, Ant International’s global wallet gateway, and Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading superapp, have announced the integration of Grab’s ride-hailing services into Alipay+ Voyager, its inbuilt end-to-end AI travel agent. This will make local transportation services in Southeast Asia more accessible for users of Alipay+ Voyager, who can now book rides directly from within their digital wallets. To advance financial inclusion in the Philippines, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and top mobile wallet app GCash have partnered to simplify account verification by integrating the National ID eVerify system. This collaboration allows Filipinos to verify their GCash accounts using their National ID—whether in physical, paper, or digital form—making it easier to access secure financial services. The initiative supports the government’s ongoing efforts to broaden financial access through the National ID, which over 92 million Filipinos have already registered for, with more than 50 million IDs delivered. By integrating eVerify directly into the GCash app, users can now quickly and securely complete identity verification, enhancing access to financial tools and services.
