FREE Tech Upskilling: SM Center Sangandaan Hosts Free AI Workshop for the Community

As artificial intelligence continues to reshape how people study, work, and do business, SM Center Sangandaan is set to help members of the community better understand and navigate the technology through a free upskilling session focused on practical AI applications.

Dubbed “AI for All,” the learning session will be held on September 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the 2nd Level of SM Center Sangandaan, beside KKV.

The session aims to make artificial intelligence more accessible by moving beyond technical jargon and focusing on how AI can be used in everyday work, business, productivity, and career development.

Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of AI and prompt engineering, while also exploring practical AI applications in the workplace, business, and productivity. The session will likewise tackle responsible and ethical AI use, helping learners understand not only what the technology can do, but also how it should be used.

The program will also introduce participants to IBM SkillsBuild, providing them with additional learning resources as they continue developing skills in an increasingly digital workplace.

The free learning session forms part of SM Supermalls’ continuing efforts to bring accessible skills development and career opportunities closer to Filipino communities. 

With AI becoming increasingly present across industries, learning how to work with the technology can give students, jobseekers, working professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs another tool to navigate new opportunities.
